I am hoping to research the reason for and building of the Silent Valley. My Grandfather, Barny Newell, and his two brother's, Willie and Jimmy Newell, worked to help build it. There is a book called The Dam Builder's which contains pictures of them and all of the lower Mourne men who worked on it.
